Yeoman Woodworks

I completed this kitchen over a year ago and I'm just getting around to posting about it. How time flies. Knotty hickory lowers, hood fan cabinet and floating shelves. Cream colour lacquered uppers and dovetailed drawers.

Had the 2nd Airdrie Scouts in the shop over the weekend working on their Cub cars and Scout Trucks. Teaching them shop safety and how to properly use wood working tools. Always a pleasure to give back to the scouts.

In this kitchen we replaced the small island with a much bigger one and incorporated a small wine fridge, garbage/recycle pullout, front storage cabinets, and a bigger sink cabinet. We maintained the same shaker style and finish to match the existing kitchen. We also converted a 2 door cabinet with shelves to a 3 drawer bank with undermount slides. The last modification we did to the kitchen was the addition of a liquor drawer and pullout for glasses.

Laundry rooms need some attention too. Added some full-height storage cabinets with a nice big lower drawer for hockey equipment to be stored in, upper storage cabinets and a narrow cabinet with a pullout for cleaning supplies and laundry detergent bottles. It also received a quartz top over the washer and dryer.

A nice addition to an existing kitchen. This coffee bar adds functionality and looks great as well. The stained maple tops and shelves adds a nice contrast. Shaker fronts to match the existing kitchen, solid maple dovetail drawers with undermount slides, and a garbage/recycle pullout cabinet.

Walk-in closet. So much more usable space versus the Ikea wardrobe closet that was there originally. Space for long and short hanging clothes, lots of big drawers and open storage shelves. White lacquered fronts and tops. Soft-close undermount drawer slides.

Added some much needed cabinets and storage to this walk-through pantry. The Lacquered shaker doors and butcherblock counter tops really make this stand out. Much better than the wire shelves that the builders use.
