Mettle dreams

I find it hard to take enough pictures to show everyone the things we do around here. Along with the upholstery most know we also do some autobody repairs and paint. Heres a couple in progress pics of the 62 gmc we a currently making beautiful. We have replaced all damaged metal, rockers, subframe pieces and part of the floor. Now just at the finishing process.

I often get asked where a person can get replacement seats, we can often line something up or refer to auto recycler/wrecker. However often times we can repair seats that seem destroyed. Here's just a couple done recently. One the springs and padding needed repair, the other was a set off air bag. I hope everyone is enjoying the warmer weather!

Hello all, its been a while since I managed time to share with you. Like a lot of us in B.C we stood through fires, washouts and are just getting caught up on the back log. That said here's a few things that have gone through in the past few months. I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season and we look forward to the interesting projects in the future.

Its been a really mild winter so far, hope everyone is getting some time outside enjoying. We have some quite interesting machines in the shop this week, a very nice 58 white truck getting seats to match headliner, done a couple of years ago. As well we have rickshaw, pictures posted last time, getting a couple mechanical mods done. And one finished little chair, yes we do furniture. Have a great weekend all.

Happy new year all. I come to realize that I haven't posted in a while and I should probably bring everyone up to date. The last month's of 2020 proved to be both busy and challenging. We lost a member of the team "Bob Robinson", his smile and talents will be missed, rest in peace my friend. That said, we managed to do some really fun stuff. Here are some pic's, a rickshaw that got paint, interior and top. As well a couple of paint jobs, colour change on an explorer, very nice ruby red. And a cj jeep, getting paint and interior. I hope everyone had a great new year and all the best for 2021!

We've been a bit busy over the past couple of weeks and I haven't had time to share with you all. Heres a couple things that have travelled through since I posted last. First is set of custom bucket seats that we actually redesigned to look the way the customer wanted. Below are pictures of a customers truck we rebuilt the metal on the rockers and cab corners and painted her up a snazzy new color. Hope you are all doing well and enjoying the sun we are finally getting!

Another couple of weeks since we posted anything. With the sun comes the toys! We have a sweet Chevelle getting some interior work and just finished the first boat top for this spring. Enjoy the sunshine everyone, active and busy is healthy.

Well hello all, its been a couple of weeks since we shared anything. Kind of strange times all over, i hope all of you are doing well, staying healthy. We have taken the opportunity to get a few things done through all this virus time, as we have little to no social contact at the shop. That said, here are the couple things that we managed to get done and delivered over the time since we last posted. For those of you watching progress on the 56 bel air, here are the finished pictures we took. On top of that, we put a 67 Chevelle through for some fresh colour. Hope you all enjoy!

Its Thursday, one day closer to the weekend. On the road in Clinton today to install a headliner in a 68 firebird. Another very nice car, just coming to the finish of a complete restoration, James does very nice work. I will post some pics of the finished car in the future.

A busy Tuesday, we have taken the interior out of the 56 and are getting started rebuilding. We have the front door panels on the bench. Thought you all may want a look at the process. Below are a picture of the original panel as it came off the car, the new panel board just cut and fit, and a picture of what we are going to make them look like.
