1941 Mack Line Truck
Brought to Toronto with a twin, from Yonkers NY in the late 40's early 50's to move 4 buildings on Queen St for Subway construction. Check out the drag winch. How many sn**ch blocks to move a 5 storey building & 3 houses 600 feet.

Apparently, one would think I have a thing for Greyhound !
Not at all, just a move to a movie set. 1951, starts, runs, stops & the parking brake even works.....6 cylinder gas, automatic with air brakes & vacuum doors. Nice ! Can't show the signage inside, but remember, it was 1951.......

I'm the 3rd truck you say.....
We'll fix that, a tilt here and a lift there, a bit of cribbing and bam, we're at 13.6 ! Done !

Customer says, wow, thats a big truck, did they mention the road......let's go for a drive (masks on) and take a look. Backed 2 1/2 km down the cow path to the 15' wide driveway. The rest is history.......thanks to Bob the dozer guy, all good !
