“How hard can it be? Boys do it.” 💅🏼

Turns out… pretty damn hard. 😂

Stripping, sanding, staining, spraying, colour matching, lifting heavy furniture, troubleshooting finishes, and running a business somewhere in between.

I don’t just refinish furniture. I run the quotes, manage the clients, solve the problems, put in the hours, and build the business.

A woman in a male-dominated trade? Absolutely.

And I’m not here to prove I can do what the boys do. I’m here to show what I can do. 💪🏼

Here’s to the women building businesses, mastering trades, and getting their hands dirty. 🖤

For this project, we needed to match an alder tabletop to existing maple kitchen cabinets.

Using custom-blended dyes, we carefully adjusted the wood’s undertones, warmth, and depth to create a cohesive colour match while preserving the natural grain.

✨ Achieving the right colour takes more than stain. It takes colour theory, patience, precision, and a trained eye.

That’s the art of professional furniture refinishing!

After removing multiple layers of latex paint, these beautiful French doors finally got the new life they deserved — back to stunning stain grade.

Our clients had such a beautiful vision, and their eye for detail made this project a joy. It was exciting to watch it all come to life!

Finished in post-cat acrylic urethane for durability that matches the beauty.

Grateful for clients who value craftsmanship and aren’t afraid to rescue the good stuff! 💕
