Red Eyed Lightning Works

Life has been a real rollercoaster these last few months but I'm happy to say the Lightning works is finally operational again! I'm so excited to start making new pieces and filling orders and seeing everyone at the markets. Also stay tuned for some really big new ideas I have coming up...

Throwback to a piece I made and sold in Saskatoon last time I was there. These are 3/4 inch white birch plywood rounds rescued from the dumpster at a local car sound installer.

Finished the deck just in time for the snow! This restoration was one of my favorite jobs, she'll be good for another 40 years.

Railing is in! And some paint on the stairs!

The deck rebuild is coming along nicely, some small leveling adjustment sanded the deck and added proper support for both the deck and rails.

I'm really excited for this next job! A deck rejuvenation for some amazing people complete with a lightning shot finish on the top rail. This is basically my dreams coming to life and I couldn't be more thrilled about it! Stay tuned for more pics next week!

I received a wonderful message today, this frame was commissioned by a customer specifically for this piece of art and I am blown away at how beautiful it is. I can't wait to make more pieces like it so if you have a piece of art in your home you'd love to see framed let me know!

What an amazing day! I finally finished this amazing custom order for .xox and dropped it off. It's such a beautiful piece and I fell in love with the meditation frog!

Sometimes I moonlight as the old guy in the movie who makes cool new weapons and gadgets for the hero of the story who is my youngest kid. My latest creation is this fiery axe of doom, he hasn't named it yet but it's not quite finished yet either. I'll post some updates as it gets better!

Finished this piece just in time for Father's Day! Make him a BBQ legend with this custom BBQ untensile box set. I've added copious magnets to give that extra cool factor. I'll be at Highland Park community center tomorrow afternoon!
