Check out the grain on this Wanut Waterfall Bench! This piece is up for sale. Hand made from solid walnut slabs. Makes a great end table for a couch as a well.

Got a couple of walnut waterfall benches coming up. I use this same design as a side table for our sofa at home as they have a slim profile. These have amazing grain and feature waterfall edges, live edge cross braces, and no screws or nails anywhere in the construction. Can’t wait to get the finishing touches done and oiled/waxed. I added a pic of what finished walnut looks like for reference.

I bet you didn’t know how hard it is to cut a nice circle out of 2” thick hardwood. Especially when I don’t have many of the fancy tools.

One of my favourite things to do are waterfall edges. That’s where to take a slab and use a mitre join to take one end vertical, but the grain continues. This poplar slab bench was my first attempt.

This is a Walnut Slab table custom made for a customer last year. He is a helicopter pilot and we thought it would be done a nice touch to add his machine to the table. Grabbed a picture, re-drew it digitally and then had it laser engraved. It was a fun project!

This was a a fun build. A local Calgary Maple tree that had some rot in this cross section. Chiseled out the rot and filled with a blue epoxy resin lake! Check it out. **Available**

Some shots of the walnut river table recently completed. Big project, and first time making table legs from scratch! Those babies are solid 4x4 walnut, made from a 2” walnut slab.

Made this for my cousin’s cabin out of a single slab of larch and used dowel joinery so there’s no screws or nails! Custom burned some initials on the top for him. This one was fun!
