The Calm Before the Pour!
Forms are prepped, sealed, and locked down. Tomorrow, the real magic happens.
We’ve got two incredible projects lined up for a massive pour day:
The Hutch Top: A gorgeous, long section of wormy maple featuring a deep, dramatic natural river channel, perfectly framed and taped.
The End Table: A beautiful slab of Ambrosia maple with incredible character and a deep central split just begging to be filled.
Both of these are getting filled tomorrow with Nerpa Polymers resin tinted with Black Diamond Pigments "Medieval Copper." The contrast between that rich, metallic copper and the natural tones of the maple is going to be unreal.
Stay tuned—pour videos are coming tomorrow!

There’s nothing quite like watching a build come together from raw lumber to a finished statement piece.
This latest project is a matching Ambrosia maple dining table and bench combo. For the support, we went with a rugged, custom-crafted X-trestle base to give it that perfect balance of modern and rustic design.

The best way to fight "fast furniture" is to build pieces that last lifetimes. While species like Walnut get all the fame, Solid Birch is the true high-performance hero of the workshop.
Here is why this underrated hardwood is a top-tier choice for custom builds:
Deceptive Strength: Don't let the light color fool you—Yellow Birch actually tests higher on the Janka hardness scale than both Black Walnut and Soft Maple. It’s incredibly dent-resistant and won't sag under a heavy collection.
Refined Aesthetics: It features a tight, closed-pore grain that feels like silk. It offers a clean, modern look with a natural golden shimmer that brings light into any room.
Eco-Friendly: Birch is a fast-growing, abundant North American hardwood, making it one of the most sustainable and carbon-conscious choices for your home.
This isn't just a shelf; it’s an heirloom-quality build designed to outperform the trends.

Nature really is the best artist. This end table features a thick boxelder maple cookie top, showcasing those signature vibrant streaks and intricate grain patterns. To ensure a perfectly smooth surface, the natural checks have been stabilized with deep black epoxy, creating a striking contrast that emphasizes the wood's organic character.
Paired with a modern, heavy-duty steel base, this piece brings a clean, industrial edge to a classic live-edge look.
Dimensions: 22" x 22"
Finish: Clear Satin
Available for Purchase: DM for pricing and shipping details.
Note: I also have two additional cookies currently available for custom commissions. Send a message if you're interested in a matching set or a standalone piece!

There’s a specific moment in every build where the vision finally takes physical shape. Today is that day for this X-style trestle table.
The character in this Ambrosia Maple is already looking sharp, but just wait until the first coat of finish hits it. We’re going for maximum stability on this one, including inset steel plates to tie the base to the top.
What do you think of this X-base style? Clean and modern or classic farmhouse?

Yesterday was all about refinement, getting this Ambrosia Maple top perfectly leveled and smooth. In custom furniture, the prep work is everything. It takes patience to get a surface this large just right, but it’s the only way to ensure a flawless result.
This beauty is officially prepped and off for staining!

A lot of work happens before the glue even touches the wood. We are currently in the "prep and preserve" phase for a new custom dining table.
The Workflow:
Bark Removal: Stripping the organic material to reveal the rock-hard sapwood underneath.
Edge Cleaning: Using drawknives and hand sanding to keep those live edge curves smooth to the touch.
Lamination Prep: Flattening and squaring the mating joints to ensure this Ambrosia Maple top stays rock-solid for decades.
It’s all about the details that you won’t see in the final product, but you’ll definitely feel in the quality.

Proof that you don’t need a massive footprint to add massive value. 🛠️
We recently wrapped up this custom built-in nook, featuring classic white shaker drawers and a solid White Oak countertop. Whether it’s a dedicated 3D printing station like this one or a high-functioning home office, custom built-ins turn "wasted" corners into the most productive spots in the house.
Every piece is handcrafted to fit your specific dimensions and workflow.
DM us to talk about that awkward closet or corner you’ve been meaning to transform!

There is nothing quite like the clean look of 1.75" thick Ash hardwood floating shelves. For this project, it wasn't just about the install—it was about the integration.
We color matched the client’s existing cabinets using Rubio Monocoat Savanna to ensure these shelves look like they were part of the original kitchen design from day one.
The Build Specs:
Material: 1.75" Solid Ash (Durable, heavy-grain beauty).
Finish: Rubio Monocoat Savanna (Color matched to cabinetry).
Hardware: Hovr Bracket System for a dead-level, high-capacity floating mount with zero visible hardware.
When the finish matches and the brackets are hidden, the wood really gets to speak for itself.
Have cabinets you’re trying to match? Let’s get a sample started. DM for inquiries! 📥
