We’re proud to partner with Sport Central to help young folks access bikes and the freedom they bring. Through this collaboration, some of our donated bikes are refurbished and passed along to young people who need them most.
Together, we’re removing barriers to recreation, supporting healthy lifestyles, keeping bikes out of landfill and ensuring more youth can ride, explore and connect with their community! Happy World Bike Day, Edmonton!

June is National Indigenous History Month, a time to recognize, honour, and celebrate the history, cultures, and diversity of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples who have lived on this land since time immemorial. This month is an opportunity to connect with Indigenous stories, celebrate resilience, leadership and achievements in our community.

This chair was part of someone’s everyday life.
Morning coffee. Late-night conversations. Quiet moments in between.
Now, it’s ready for something new.
A place to sit. A place to begin again.

Every couch donated.
Every table purchased.
Every dresser dropped off.
Every person who chooses to shop preloved with FIND.
It all adds up to something bigger.
Because of community support, FIND furnished 168 homes in May, helping 224 people transition out of homelessness and into housing.
And while furniture may seem simple, we see every day how much it matters.
A couch creates comfort.
A table creates connection.
A furnished space becomes a safe place to land at the end of the day.
Empty spaces slowly begin to feel comfortable, welcoming and lived in.
That transformation happens because people across Edmonton continue to show up for one another through donations, shopping and supporting FIND.
We believe everyone deserves a place that feels like home.
As we move through June, that message carries even more meaning. During Pride Month, we’re reminded that “There’s No Place Like Home” means everyone deserves safety, belonging and the freedom to be fully themselves.
June is also National Indigenous History Month, a time to recognize and honour the histories, cultures, resilience and contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis peoples, while acknowledging the ongoing impacts of housing inequity and displacement experienced by Indigenous communities.
This month, FIND will also be out in the community at markets, events and gatherings across Edmonton. We’re excited to connect, share stories and talk more about how furniture changes lives. If you see us around, come say hello.
The work of creating homes is truly community work.
And it continues because of YOU.
If you would like to support FIND, consider:
• Donating furniture and household items
• Shopping at FIND
• Sharing our work with your community
Every contribution helps create HOME.
Thank you, Edmonton, for being part of the solution to ending homelessness!

Recently, our Marketing Supervisor spent the day riding along with FIND’s logistics team and got a firsthand look at the heart behind this work.
There were tight staircases, impossible corners, problem solving, teamwork and a LOT of laughter.
But there were also quiet moments that mattered just as much.
Watching participants see their homes fill with furniture for the first time.
Hearing gratitude for a table, a couch, a bed.
Seeing empty spaces start to feel like HOME.
Our logistics team does so much more than move furniture.
They build trust.
They show care.
They help create comfort and belonging during a major life transition.
To every driver, swamper dispatcher, processer, donor and supporter: THANK YOU for helping make this work possible across Edmonton.
Every donated item helps create HOME.
