Out of all the Highland pieces in the shop right now, these two large beauties are my personal favourites. The soft florals, the texture, the neutral tones… they’re such a statement piece without feeling too heavy.

And yes… apparently once you start decorating with Highlands, there’s no going back 😅

I love this one so much, I have it in my home!

We hung up the Fusion paint samples and I honestly think it helps SO much seeing the colours this way 💕 It makes it easier to picture them in your own home when you can see the actual painted sample beside the jars!

It’s the paint we use in all of our workshops because it’s beginner friendly, durable, and gives such a beautiful finish.

These Canadian-made tilt bins are such a smart way to hide the not-so-pretty stuff while still looking nice in your home. Most people use them for garbage or recycling, but they’re also great for pet food storage too!

Love pieces that are functional but still fit into your décor instead of looking industrial or bulky ✨

Our best selling floral bike art with the hand applied raised paint details is back front and center, paired with real touch hydrangeas, layered blue tones, soft greenery and a mix of wood, glass and woven textures.

One little decorating tip we always come back to… when styling shelves or tables, repeat one colour in a few different spots to make everything feel pulled together. The blues in the florals, artwork, glass vases and runner help this whole section feel balanced without looking too “matchy.” 💙

We tucked in a few new pieces throughout this area too, and honestly this might be one of my favourite corners in the store right now.

Yesterday was a busy one at The Primitive Lane 💛

We hosted a 12 person door hanger party AND our porch leaner class was completely sold out! We seriously love seeing all the different styles and creativity everyone brings to the table.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out and created with us yesterday. Your projects turned out so cute!

We also just launched a brand new option for our summer rounds on upcoming classes and take-home kits — you can now add a bow & greenery for a fuller finished look 🌿🎀

Just a little heads up, our wood maker is away for most of July and quite a few days in June, so we currently only have TWO workshop dates available right now.
