This is a very rustic table I made for my clients. It features a gorgeous curly maple top which was the offset from their kitchen counter which I installed. I added four wedge keys to stabilize the cracks (which hadn't changed in a year and a half). The base is dyed ash. The figure in the grain is spectacular...

Hello all! I hope this finds you enjoying the first few days of 2015. My three-piece suite will be shown at the Alberta Craft Council's next exhibition: "15 on 35". It opens January 17, and it would be wonderful if you could come to see what 15 artists have created to celebrate ACC's 35th anniversary year.

Conference table in the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Musuem in Grande Prairie. Designed, constructed and installed by George Heagle and Chris Kubash.
This is the conference table that George Heagle and I just finished constructing and installing at the Philip J. Currie Dinosaur Musuem in Grande Prairie. It worked out beautifully, and we are both very happy with the results. Curly sycamore veneers, and solid wenge accents, with a steel logo inlaid in the middle. What a wonderful project to work on.
