The Bass River History book is gone already so I grabbed a couple more local History Books from the Book Nook upstairs .
These ones by Colchester’s very own Author, Stacey McCully Culgin,.

See it in my display case on the lower level at Great Village Antique’s Exchange.

While you are there be sure to take in the BOOK NOOK in Clairs vintage room on the upper level , “featuring local history, nature, birds and wildlife”
automitive ads , dealer brochures from the 70’s, 80’s & 90’s , children’s books and vintage magazines as well as a large presentation of Eatons, Simpson catalogs
The last 3 items pictured are part of history too.
The first a Walnut Victorian parlor table,
2nd a classic mid 20th century classic coffee table.
And the last my own invention with the help of a skilled craftsman, a rectangular sawbuck style coffee table crafted from discarded/recycled material including a hundred year old pine door for a top .
