Made a new workbench 4' × 8'. I like big surfaces to work on. Pine under structure, 600kg rated legs, ¼" removable mdf top, cherry edging. It's going to patina beautifully. Next step is to add storage underneath.

Bought two hammer heads in Japan back in January. A 200g hammer from and a 600g hammer from . Finally had some time to shape handles for them, and to redo my handle for the hammer I have had since 2019. I used Osage for the handles. The wood starts out a bright yellow, but will patina over time to a deep amber. Incredibly satisfying to shape your own tools.
