It's been fun but I'm taking a hiatus from the amp gig to focus on other things. I'm sure there will be a build or two in the near future, but I will not be taking anymore repairs.

OK, OK, version 5.0 and I'm finally completely happy with it lol. Added a 2nd gain stage and changed up the tone controls. Now there is a treble and bass control. Also added a coupling cap selector switch so it can be used as a guitar amp as well. It's now pushing 50 watts. So this being version 5.0 I think I'll just name it The 5.0 haha.

Added a pilot light and standby switch. Almost done with the finishing touches. Just need to get a logo on there.

Took the old Bogen and completely gutted it. Here's my newest bass amp. Two 12AX7's and two cathode biased 6v6's. Simple circuit with one volume and a tone control. This things cranks it out and super tight, clean bass.

A couple cool amps in for repair today. A Fender clone and a very cool Swart space tone. All hand wired point to point.

Afternoon in the shop. Hunted down a cold solder on a preamp tube bias resistor and wired in a quarter inch Jack on an old PA speaker. Another cool little cab.
I'll be accepting amps for repair again in small batches. If you are looking for a tune up, re tube or repair let me know.

After a nice 5 month hiatus I'm slowly starting to putter around in the shop again. Was cleaning up today and decided to make a little practice amp out of some stuff from the amp graveyard lol.

Been a bit since I've posted any work. I've decided to close up shop for a bit after a busy couple years. I will still take on a few projects here and there but I will be pretty selective and mostly only accepting unique and vintage amps. Here's a shot of a cool little project I just finished up for a customer. A speaker box from an old mid 50s Victor projector converted to a guitar cabinet. Very cool and light weight cab now.
