Ever notice how the calmest kitchens are the ones where you can't see the fridge?
In this custom home, the cabinetry does a lot of quiet work. A full-height walnut-tone wall tucks the fridge, ovens and pantry out of sight. A soft sage upper run skips hardware altogether. And the island, a single block of white stone that wraps down both sides, gives everyone a place to land.
We carried the same warm wood through the house:
• A wet bar with floating shelves for glassware
• A floating ensuite vanity with a lowered makeup desk
• A floating powder room vanity that keeps the floor open
