I made these blankets years ago when I was still living in Canmore. The amount of time that was put into the front of each design made me feel like I could never part with them, but finding them in a bucket over 20 years later was the saddest thing. I will never make my time back on any items that I make like this, but knowing that I enjoyed making them and that someone else will enjoy displaying it or using it, makes every moment worth it. ❤️

I've been sharing bits and pieces of these coin pouches in my stories and they're finally finished 😁 The blue was a favorite for everyone but personally I love the black one! They all have a scattering of gold beads throughout the pattern and the gold pops so nicely against the black matte beads. I love adding foil to my pieces but I always struggle with the application process. The wood either absorbs the glue and there's not enough adhesive to stick, or I don't wait long enough 🤦‍♀️ I think I finally figured out how I have to do it moving forward cuz this worked out so well! Comment below if you're struggling with foil and we can share our processes 😁

I have been working hard this last week trying to put the finishing touches on my website. It is now live and I would love to hear your thoughts! Everything is burned into the wood by hand with my Razertip woodburner and painted with watercolor paints. Enjoy!
