My old Cher

One of the oldest chair we ever done.
This Zero Gravity Chair was not invented yesterday.
The modern fabric and color give a new look for an old ladies.
People had a lot of imagination back then; they used radiator pipes, tacks for the finishing touches, all sorts of nail sizes, carpet, rope, blankets...and today we've replaced all of that with new materials, like foam, fibre, staples for a better comfort.

A small occasional chair that needed a splash of color.

After stripping the old tired color and fabric, we added a light color to make the fabric colors stand out.

This is an unique talking piece for all ages.
An Antique Victorian adjustable piano stool.
Fixed and refinished the wood.
The seat swivels and is height-adjustable.
The legs are claw foot with green glass balls.

a new life for this antique chair a part of history of Wolfe Island.
The chair was in the Woodman House, a summer Inn in the village, until it was sold in 2003.
After all those years, the chair need lost of love to look nice and comfortable. It was reglued, stripped, stained, fixed the broken parts and added a comfy upholstered seat.

Reupholstered a model chair, who had a sagging/flat seat.
To revamp the style of the chair, I had new strapping, ticker foam and a new upholstery fabric.
