Living consciously is being aware of how advertising motivates us to act. We may rationally know that advertising promotes over consumptions, but it still triggers our nucleus accumbens. We get stimulated over the THOUGHT of buying (a reward pathway in the brain). So, reduce the trigger and get rid of all the subscriptions that promote buying stuff you don't need.
