Found a little friend hanging out on the kiln doors today.
Our family lives on a farm on the outskirts of the quaint village of Kintore. We offer custom milling, various hardwoods and unique wood creations.

Just finished up some hand carved bowls. Since I don’t have a lathe, these bowls are carved out using an Arbortech diamond blade disc on a grinder. It gives them a hand hewn texture. These are all coated in our food safe board wax.

Had a chance to work with a great family on making them a nice round dining table for their new home. Wishing you many new memories sitting around it having a good time.

I’ve had a set of stumps in the kiln drying for about 2 years now. They have been pulled out and I’m beginning to cut them level for table bases. Pretty excited at the possibilities for these. These are black locust stumps that came from trees at a park in Embro.

Kiln #2 is ready to cook. Charcuterie board material and thick mantle pieces to get some weight on it.
Just when you think everything’s going alright….

That’s a wrap. Kiln is loaded. Ready to cook. Lots of nice material ready by the end of the summer.

We’ve waited a long time to post this. We were asked by Upper Thames Brewing Company to make a bartop for their new addition to the brewery. We had to pull this off in a whirlwind of 3 weeks. Lots of late nights. Thanks to our friend Ben at I Wood build for the help in getting this done on time. Thanks to Trevor Couckuyt for the help with the install. Go check it out. Thanks to Noah at Vance Construction for trusting us with this important job.
