Monique Védié, born in 1924, was a French artist, designer and costume jewellery manufacturer from the 50s to the 90s. She attended the Ecole Supérieure des Arts Appliqués in Paris, and then first collaborated with Victor Linton before eventually opening her own Atelier.
Her pieces of jewellery in talosel are often characterized by a touch of humour, and typically inspired by fauna and flora. Monique Védié has collaborated with various fashion houses throughout her career.

René Michallon, a French artist born in 1928, is mostly know for his floral paintings. He also made a small series of hand-painted ceramics. The ceramic piece is numbered on the bottom as the 9th out of 50 ever made.
