Let’s see what Guy is working on today…live from the studio.

We make to order because producing more than necessary is still producing waste, even when that waste hasn’t happened yet.

Traditional production often begins with a forecast: make enough, store it, and hope demand follows. When it doesn’t, the excess has to go somewhere. It becomes inventory, discounting, disposal, or material that was used without ever finding a real place in someone’s life.

At Cyrc, we try to reverse that sequence.

A piece is chosen first. Then we make it.

That gives us the flexibility to respond to real demand instead of predicting it, reduce unnecessary inventory, and be more deliberate about the material and energy that go into each object.

For us, circularity is not only about what happens at the end of a product’s life. It begins much earlier, with the decision of whether something should be produced in the first place.

Made to order asks for a little more patience. But it also allows us to make with greater intention, avoid excess where we can, and take more responsibility for what we put into the world

Cyrc at Wake Medellín Social Wellness Hotel .

A year ago, we were sitting with the 5 Sólidos team in their Medellín studio. Today, seeing Wake Medellín come to life and seeing our vases become part of it is incredibly meaningful.

Our relationship grew organically through trust and a shared appreciation for thoughtful design.

For Cyrc co-founder Daniel Martinez, the project is also deeply personal:

“As someone originally from Colombia, seeing pieces designed and made by a brand that I co-funded in Montreal, where I immigrated 19 years ago, find a place in Medellín carries a special meaning. I had admired 5 Sólidos since first discovering their work on Jose Osorio Balvin home in Architectural Digest . To now see Cyrc become part of Wake Medellín feels like a return home through design.”

Gracias a D y a todo el equipo de 5 Sólidos por creer en Cyrc, por su confianza y por llevar nuestro trabajo a un espacio tan extraordinario. Es un verdadero honor colaborar con un equipo que admiramos profundamente.

Featured in Design Milk.

Cyrc was selected as one of six sustainable home furnishings helping shape healthier, more responsible homes.

The feature recognizes our closed-loop approach, made-to-order production and take-back program, while affirming something we have always believed: circularity and good design should be inseparable.

Thank you, Design Milk , for highlighting our work and helping bring circular design to a wider audience.

Where to find Cyrc: Norton Museum of Art.

Retail partnerships are about more than where our pieces are sold. They give circular design a place within leading cultural institutions, and help introduce new ways of making, using and valuing the objects around us.

We’re proud to have Cyrc represented at the Norton Museum Store in West Palm Beach, and grateful to the partners who help move this vision forward.

PLA is neither the miracle material it is sometimes presented as nor a material without value.

Its benefits are real. So are its limitations.

Calling something plant-based, biodegradable or compostable does not guarantee that it will be responsibly managed after use. The collection and processing system matters just as much as the material.

At Cyrc, we use PLA, but we do not believe responsibility ends when a piece leaves our studio. Our take-back program gives us a direct path to recover the material and use it again.

Circularity is not a label. It is a commitment to what happens next.

Earth Day is a reminder of something simple:
our everyday decisions shape the planet.

What we choose to buy.
How long we keep it.
What we do with it after.

Nothing disappears. Everything continues.

The shift is clear, from linear to circular.
From waste, to responsibility.

We begin In the Vase with , whose work sits at the intersection of ecology and design. His journey from biology to floristry forged a style defined by movement, restraint, and an unwavering zero-waste philosophy. He builds with what he grows, what he forages, and what the season offers.

For the first chapter, he interprets the Conan vase with the final flowers from his Montreal garden, creating a composition that feels both wild and deliberate.

The Rattan vase at Tasha’s 🏠 with 🌼🌺🌸 from her garden.

About the vase:
The Rattan vase has a bold but minimalist stacked motif. This medium-sized vase has the capacity to hold large bouquets. A weaving motion while printing creates an intricate texture over this modern and organic form. This piece showcases the craft of additive manufacturing.
