Mid-century makeover:
Dented, scratched and faded, this teak table needed some expert care.
The new finish made the grain and colours pop with vibrancy and richness again 🤩

Fun finds:
This antique pipe display came to us needing repairs to the top.
During the work, we discovered some old hand-painted signs hidden inside!
So fun to see some history and evolution of this unique piece ♥️

It's all fun and games until your chess table loses its legs!
The bent shaft was straightened, and the various chips and scratches were repaired. Game on! 🙌

We are in the business of restoring the tired and broken (furniture) back to its former glory

Just like it never happened...

This dining table wasn't lining up where the two halves meet - the culprit - a broken alignment pin 😭
Instead of searching for an exact replacement (made of plastic), we made a replica out of hardwood and coloured it to match. Voila - table back in alignment 🫶

XL Pine Table with water damage...
With some ❤️, expertise, and multiple coats of finish, this refinished table made its owners both go "WOW!"

Bold as brass, this pretty bird flew into Woodwerks one day, looking for a new perch...
Apparently another little bird told him where to find us!

How do you know if your antique furniture is made in Canada 🇨🇦 ?? Look up the manufacturer's stamp is the obvious answer, but even simpler than this - look for Robertson screws!
Invented by Peter Lymburner Robertson circa 1908, it is still regarded as the greatest screw head ever produced. It is definitely our preferred choice here at Woodwerks!
