Got pets? Your sofa doesn’t have to pay the price. 🐾

A few simple habits can help protect your sofa from fur, scratches and everyday pet messes:

• Vacuum regularly — removing pet hair before it builds up makes cleaning much easier.

• Use washable throws — especially on your pet’s favourite spot.

• Consider a sofa cover, especially if you have cats — a washable, durable cover adds an extra layer of protection against fur, scratches and everyday messes.

• Keep claws trimmed — this can help reduce accidental scratches and fabric damage.

• Give them a scratching alternative — place a scratching post near the sofa if that’s where your cat usually likes to scratch.

• Clean accidents quickly — blot spills and stains instead of rubbing, and always follow the care instructions for your sofa’s fabric.

• Rotate and fluff cushions — when possible, this can help keep wear more even over time.

Sharing your home with pets doesn’t mean giving up on a great-looking sofa. ❤️

Save this for later and send it to a friend who shares their sofa with a furry family member! 🐶🐱

With all the talk about tariffs these days, it’s fair to wonder what that means for furniture prices.

At Dodd’s, we carry a wide selection of Canadian-made products and also buy many products directly, helping us avoid the tariff impacts that can come with buying through the U.S.

Take this reclining sofa, for example. For $1,198, you get two power reclining ends, built-in arm storage, and two cup holders — comfort and convenience in one setup.

And with our Easy Pay financing, you don’t have to pay for it all upfront:
