I am speaking with business leaders in North Vancouver District this week, like Tina Hamlin, owner of Coast Consignment. Hearing from people in the local business community highlights the importance of small independent businesses and the role they play in creating a vibrant community. It also allows me to hear firsthand how challenges, such as traffic congestion, affect the health and growth of their business. I came away with suggestions I look forward to discussing with mayor and council if elected on October 17.
