Not sure which cedar grade is right for your space? 🌿

Garden Grade has more pronounced knots, natural wood tones, and a few imperfections, making it a great fit for that raw, natural look.

Select Grade has more consistent tones, fewer knots, and a cleaner finish that works beautifully in modern spaces.

Both grades offer the same functionality, so it really comes down to the look you love!

Did you know planter soil can settle by around 2 inches a year? 🌱

Before winter sets in, top up your planter with 1–2 inches of compost, then add a layer of shredded leaves to help protect your soil and replenish organic matter for next season. No tilling needed!

In warmer growing zones, top up your soil before planting your fall crops to give them a nutrient boost.

Wrapping up your garden for the season? Let us know in the comments what you’re planning to grow next year! 🌿

Deadheading zinnias is the secret to keeping your cedar planter blooming all season long 🌼✂️ Snip just above the next set of leaves and your plants will keep pushing out fresh flowers well into fall.

A few minutes of maintenance = weeks more color in your raised garden bed.

Not sure which feet your planter needs? It comes down to one thing; Where it sits.

Deck, porch, or patio? Go with sleeve feet. They’re slim, low profile, and keep the clean look of your planter.

Grass or soft ground? Go with platform feet. The wide square base spreads the weight, so your planter stays level and doesn’t sink in.

Both come in a set of four. Both fit the planter you already own!

🍂Getting your planter ready for winter? Don’t pull everything out just yet!

Here’s how to prepare your garden for the colder months:

Cut finished annuals at soil level, leaving the roots to break down naturally

Leave perennials, herbs and flower stems standing to support wildlife

Remove diseased plants to help protect next season’s growth

Cover your soil with shredded leaves or our Cedar Planters Winter Cover

A little fall cleanup goes a long way toward protecting your soil and setting your garden up for next season 👀🪴
