I’ve been quiet on here for some time. Between working away in the shop and doing all the little things it takes to run my business behind the scenes, I have neglected sharing what I have been working on with everyone. 😌Here is one of the projects I’ve been up to for the last several months. This has been my largest project to date and has been a joy to design and hand-craft every piece. I am endlessly excited to see it all come together on site in the coming months. Thank you to all my clients, supporters, and friends who believe in my tiny little workshop and me.

Cherry banquette and crown shelf with two drawers and a flip top bench lid for storage. Crafted with locally felled cherry and finished with linseed oil.

Walnut corded chairs 🪑. Hand-crafted and shaped in house. These were revised a bit from the original chair I designed a couple years back. Tapered back rail and adjusted height proportions, all in the name of comfort. 😌

A labor of love. Solid maple face-frame kitchen. With over 1000 individual components, this puzzle was meticulously designed, manufactured, and hand-crafted in my one car garage workshop. Turns out if you show up everyday for yourself to do what you love, you can build some pretty neat things.

Counter-height Dufferin chair. This design has been sitting in the back of my mind for some time now waiting to be built into its physical form. Made from locally felled red Oak, every piece is meticulously designed and hand-crafted in house. A lot of love went into these guys.

This Walnut media unit from 3 years ago is still shining like it did on day 1… oil holds up. Always nice coming back to see older pieces.

A little peak at what I’ve been up to for the last 3 months. Many more detailed shots to come as I close up the largest project to date. Removed a wall and put up a beam, jacked up a sagging floor, pulled up 3 layers of exisiting flooring, refinished the original pine floor, and meticulously designed and crafted hundreds of individual pieces to assemble this kitchen in the one car garage next door. All while maintaining the authentic and original character of this 1876 home

Growing up, never had I thought I would renovate my childhood home. It has been an honor and labor of love to repair, repurpose, and enhance the house that gave so much to me as a child.
