Late to post, but finished up some moose hide mitts for my fiancee just in time for our last skate on the Canal Rideau. Lined with faux-shearling and cuffed with genuine beaver fur, these mitts are oh so toasty.
Thanks again for being the incentive to get Jess to come take pictures with me.

First finished project of 2026! (It's been a slow start I know... I'll do better. I promise)
Here we have a custom carpenter style tool pouch in Dark Amber Harness by S.B Foot from . Some of the features included are a deep main pouch with a sleeve for a speed square, screwdriver loops and an auxiliary pouch fit for a tape measure or a large handful of jellybeans.

Taking advantage of all the free holiday patterns to get some tooling practice in! Here's a little ornament I finished up for our tree this year

The latest from the shop is this sharp looking knife roll, a custom Christmas gift for a local Ottawa chef! Chosen for the body was a full grain black Floater leather, with a beautiful pebbled top grain complimented by a brown suede interior flap. The piece was finished off with a dyed veg tan handle, straps, custom nameplate and a whole bunch of hand stitching! Finishing this one was a reminder that Christmas is nearing around the corner.
I'm currently flailing to finish all my gift shopping early this year... Anyone else?

Gotta love having friends with cool hobbies, it usually means I get the chance to work on some cool custom projects. Here's a hip quiver I crafted for a buddy of mine that wanted something to go with his new bow. Of course, all hand cut and hand stitched

From garbage to glory!
Upcycled crossbody bag made from salvaged genuine leather. It's always shocking to see how much usable craft material finds fate in the landfill. This finished piece gives me a little extra appreciation for once unloved items finding a second life.
From crafter to crafter, keep your eyes peeled on garbage day. You would never expect what people might be throwing away.

Simple belt on full grain buffalo heading out today! All belts are laid out, cut and punched to the customer's actual waist size, no one size fits all over here! Excited to how those copper rivets patina over the years of daily wear.

Part of exploring a new craft is finding opportunities to apply the techniques you learn and mess around with a variety of materials. This weekend's project had been an idea of mine for a while as Tilly's 4 year old collar was getting pretty raggedy...
She may eat garbage, hork up a lung at midnight and sniff questionable things along her walks... But Tilly can have nice things too.
8oz Bridle
Zing plated hardware
LOTS of hand stitching
