This is one of the most difficult posts I have had to make and I do so with a heavy heart. H2H will be closing.

House to home has helped approximately 2700 families, with an average of 4 people in each family, that’s a lot of people. And already this week, we have been asked to help 7 more families, but unfortunately we can’t. These families are already in their homes, these pictures are what one family of 7s house looks like now.

This is our last chance, because once again we will be without space , we are losing our largest storage space which was generously donated by Dymon. We have done our best to keep serving families while running to storage units all over the city , it’s truly not sustainable.

This is the current situation of one of the families, a family of 7. Is this why we bring people here? So they can sleep on the floor, be without living room furniture, not have a table and chairs to eat at, study at… help us find space so we can continue to support the families that the government welcomes.

A conversation I had with a single mom with 2 kids who we helped today. She came here with nothing and without a plan.

5 more families and only 4 couches
Plus we need one for Wednesday. Anyone have? A futon for one would be great!
