Just delivered this custom white oak and steel beauty to in Courtenay!

A very West Coast way to start the first day back at work in the new year with a stroll through an old growth forest with a few moments of awe and feeling small amongst these 800 year old giants in creation.

Benches, legs, and burls.

After all the work, it's nice to see this MCM style walnut cabinet in its forever home.

You can't do that with particleboard!

Out of the shop and into its temporary home at the office while it awaits final delivery along with the rest of the furniture package.

Almost complete on this Mid Century Modern style side board set! I like this little corner detail on the back.

Here is a substantially better photo of the latest bed, set up in my studio with decent lighting. Happy to send this off to it's new home this afternoon.

This relatively simple, solid walnut drawer, ready for assembly, represents 9 pieces of wood, and about 50 cuts over the table saw.

This custom bed frame and headboard is made with 100% Vancouver Island Big Leaf Maple. And of course, as always, is Made In Canada🇨🇦
