Every project starts with thoughtful design, where we plan each layout to suit your space perfectly. From there, we carefully select materials, ensuring quality and durability in every piece.
In the shop, countertops are manufactured, components are assembled, and orders are managed and organized to keep everything running smoothly. Throughout the entire process, there’s constant measuring, adjusting, and double-checking—because precision matters.

One year ago yesterday, we had one of the toughest days we’ve ever faced at Urban Woodworks.
Our guy Jeff—who’s more like family than anything—had a serious accident on our horizontal panel saw that resulted in the loss of multiple fingers. It shook all of us. There’s no other way to put it.
But if there’s one thing that came out of it, it’s this: we realized how much like family we really are.
The crew stepped up in a big way. Everyone pulled together, picked up the slack, and made sure we kept moving forward while supporting Jeff through it all. That’s what Urban is about.
Fast forward to today—Jeff’s back, still smiling, still giving it, and still a big part of the backbone of this shop. We marked the day with a little “Finagversary” lunch (yes… we deal with things through humor around here 😅).
All jokes aside, safety is everything to us. This incident pushed us to make serious changes, including upgrading our shop equipment. The old panel saw is gone, replaced with safer systems like our CNC and pneumatic lift setup.
We’re proud to be COR certified, and we take that responsibility seriously. Nothing matters more than making sure everyone goes home safe at the end of the day.
Jeff—we’re glad you’re still here with us, buddy. 💪

Over the past four years, Urban Woodworks has grown faster than we ever expected. Our very first collaboration with Emily and Greener Hills as a team — and we couldn’t be more excited about it.
Sometimes when you say things out loud, it’s hard to picture it.
“Traditional stained wood legs with minor distressing. Renaissance Gold. Angel’s Trumpet. Black flat pulls. Corian Indigo Swirl.”
Sounds like a lot… until you see it come together.
And here it is — the new Urban Woodworks design station selections.
This space was designed intentionally for our valued clients (and Emily 😂). A clean, organized area where samples are laid out properly, materials can be compared side-by-side, and ideas start turning into something real. We’ve added a modern TV lift so we can project directly from Emily’s laptop onto the big screen — letting you watch your vision evolve right in front of you.
We’ve also invested in a cloud rendering service that gives you the feeling you’re standing inside your new project before we even cut the first sheet.
We’re working hard behind the scenes every single day to make your experience better, smoother, and more exciting from start to finish.

Happy Friday Everybody!! 😌
Another one wrapped up for some great friends of ours — Tylor, Kayla and their two littles in Norris Point 🙌
They came to us with a vision, and with a little guidance from our team, we brought it to life.
Cabinets are finished in Urban Fog, paired with a bold solid black NGR stained island and accents for that clean contrast 👌
This kitchen is absolutely loaded with drawers and pull-outs (because let’s be honest… nobody ever says “I wish I had less storage.”)
And that pantry on the far right? That’s not just a pantry — it’s the entrance to a full walk-in. But we won’t spoil all the fun… you’ll have to stay tuned for that one 👀
