I have completely renfinished this piece in BM Sanctuary, restained the top, reinforced the drawers and added new legs and bottom base. This is very versatile, you can use it as a TV stand, dresser or buffet. I sealed the entire piece in Fusion Beeswax top coat.

Happy Thanksgiving from my little family to yours! So thankful for my amazing husband and sweet baby girl 🤍

As I wear this today, I think about how this is my first time wearing orange. 32 years and this is the first time I understand the horrors my ancestors were forced through because of the Canadian government, the RCMP and the Catholic Church. I feel sadness, anger, and pride. Proud that I am Metis, sad for those poor babies that were murdered and will never come home and rage that TO THIS DAY the Federal Government has barley taken responsibility in this genocide. Instead, they are given the day off.

Recently I listened to a Podcast that shook me to my core. It's hard to listen to, but I highly recommend it to my True Crime Friends. It's called Stolen: Surviving St. Michael's by Connie Walker. This particular case is based in Saskatchewan, but stories like these are prominent ALL over Canada. I encourage you to listen, and learn.
