I would be a liar if I didn't admit that I am absolutely smitten with how this bowl's shape and grain came together!
A stunning 10.5" curly maple bowl. That has a subtle curve , this may very well be my favorite piece that I have turned so far in my life!

The first bowl of 2026 is finished. I tried a bit of a different shape and profile overall on this one.

Stepped out of my usual comfort zone and did some power carving and painting on this one.
