It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing that Sea To Sky Upholstery is officially closing its doors.
The last year, I have had a few hiccups with personal health and business-related matters. Coming back to work from the holidays to find my newly renovated shop completely flooded was the final straw.
First off, I would like to thank every single one of my clients. This journey would not have been possible without you. I am so grateful for each and every one of you. I will be reaching out to clients who have inquired about my services and provide them with alternatives. That being said, if you live on the Sunshine Coast and are looking to have something upholstered, I’d recommend H&M Upholstery. If you are on the north shore and surrounding area, I would recommend Boates Canvas. I have a good friend who is an amazing seamstress if you’re looking to have something repaired or created (and are located in the lower mainland). Pm me, and I will forward you his contact information.
Secondly, I would like to thank my family and friends for their continued support throughout this journey. You have been my rock.
I will be keeping my social media and gmail accounts open for a few months while this transition takes place. If you would like to keep following me, my personal IG account is .
Interested in starting an upholstery business? Or want to add to your tool collection? I will be selling most of my shop supplies, tools, and sewing machines. Lots of vinyl and Sunbrella fabrics are available. Must be available to pick up in Sechelt.
What an adventure this has been. Even though I am feeling all the emotions at the end of this chapter, I’m hopeful for what’s in store next.

From drab to fab! It’s all in the patterning 😉

I have no clue who upholstered these cushions. To the untrained eye, they look like simple cushions to make. The reality is, there are many factors to consider when patterning cushions like these. When choosing an upholsterer don’t just go with the cheapest person, there’s a reason they’re cheap…. Ask to see photos of their work that are similar to the job you’re looking to have completed. Do your research, and communicate your expectations! Doing so will ensure you get what you are paying/looking for. Stay tuned to see the new and improved cushions.

Side project coming along nicely 👌

I haven’t shared many pics of my work lately….. the reality is, my shop is TINY, like 2 separate 20ft containers tiny. I love them, but it does come with its challenges. I’ve have had a lot of window replacements and cushion jobs lately. Clients usually drop off their project and pick up for installation. I rarely get to see the finished product installed. This makes taking photos awkward for me. Yes, I am still up and running, it’s just that I’m mostly at the sewing machine, and not posting pictures. So, here I am attempting to keep up with my online presence!

This mornings project involves a lot of stapling. Will definitely be wearing my ear protection today!

Last weeks installation went pretty well! It’s been a hot minute since I’ve gotten out to install some clears. It was so nice to be working outside on a boat, opposed to being cooped up in the sweatshop.
