Monsani developed a series in 1974 called the Life Collection for Acerbis. Part of this collection was the ‘Life Model Bookcase’ an illuminated modular shelving unit with both open and closed shelving compartments.

All of his interiors had a strong focus on lighting, using unusual ways to bring light into a space. Such as the dining area in the last picture, perforated walls allow light from fluorescent tubes to pass through.

Vintage grey wool three-seater sofa. The frame sits on a sculptural chrome base that looks just as beautiful from the back.

No identifying markings; however, the frame is in the style of Paul Bouvla for Artopex.

Upholstered in a classic grey wool, the fabric has been deep-cleaned by us.
