Join us on September 7 for an information session on Humber's Supply Chain Bridging Program for newcomers to Canada. This unique 12-week program will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to secure commensurate employment in the Ontario Supply Chain sector.

Program Benefits:
- Gain the technical and interpersonal skills being demanded by Supply Chain employers in Canada.
- Job Search Support
- Participate in targeted hiring events with prospective employers

Upon completion of the program, previous graduates have secured jobs as Supply Chain Managers, Operations Managers, Logisitics Coordinators, Procurement Specialists, Inventory Planners, Inventory Managers and Supply Chain Analysts.

The IT Infrastructure Bridging Program at Humber College held a virtual Graduation Event for students from Cohort 9, to mark the successful completion of the fifteen-week program on Thursday, September 9, 2021.

“The skills you’ve gained in the IT Infrastructure Bridging Program places you in a great position to succeed in the new normal. You’ve accepted that change is happening - not just by immigrating to Canada but by taking a program in an online environment. So how do I know you will succeed? Because you’ve already succeeded in the new normal!” said Joseph Luk, Team Lead at Bell Canada who was our special guest speaker. Thank you for an inspirational presentation and motivating our graduates to achieve their professional goals beyond this significant milestone.

Thank you, Gina Antonacci, (Senior Vice President, Academic), and Jonathan Kim, (Associate Dean), both from the Faculty of Applied Sciences & Technology - Humber College, for providing reflections and best wishes to our graduates.

Special thanks to our students Olushola Abiola, Nikhil Mahale, and Chaiti B., for sharing their positive experience about online learning, expressing what the program meant to them, and how it has helped to enhance their job skills to thrive in the Canadian workplace and helped them to find a job that they are passionate about.

Odo Effiong, Shashi Bhat, and Kim Morrison, introduced the students, hosted breakout rooms for networking, and conducted Canadian Trivia to make the event fun and engaging.

We would also like to thank, Pritam Shrestha, (Manager, Immigrant Programs & Services) for the opening remark, Jacqueline Smith (Manager, FAST-CPL) for the congratulatory message to our graduates, and Geraldine Babcock (Director, COWD) for the closing remark, and extending their best wishes to our graduates.

The .NET Developer and IT Infrastructure Bridging Programs at Humber College hosted a virtual IT Networking & Hiring Event on Tuesday, August 31.

The event provided students with the opportunity to connect with employers and industry professionals from organizations like Dell Technologies, SOTI, KUBRA, Wipro, Capgemini, Symend, Schema App, Accedo Technologies, xiBOSS Corporation,ProServe IT, and Herjavec Group!

A special thank you to our guest speaker, Robert Wood (Area Solution Architect at Microsoft) for sharing his advice and guiding our students on how to market themselves in the current IT job market.

We are grateful to all the participating employers for taking the time to attend the event, interact with our students, and for their ongoing support to Humber’s IT Bridging Programs.

This is the final week to register for Humber's Occupation-specific Language Training (OSLT) program. If you are new to Canada and are looking to improve your communication skills, this free program is for you.

OSLT will provide you with the work-related language skills and knowledge of Canadian workplace culture needed to succeed in your profession in Canada.

All OSLT graduates will earn a Humber certificate.
