was designed for this small space. The luxury of a dishwasher was at first considered impossible due to the configuration requirements, but with some creative cabinetry construction, we were able to pull it off. This is the benefit that true customization provides. Many kitchen companies, including that mega corporation that cannot speak its name (okay, it starts with I and ends with A, and rhymes with bad IDEA) offer cabinets in incremental sizes of two inches in width. True customization means that cabinets can be built to 1/32" tolerances, making use of every square inch of valuable space.

LH designed and built this for a client who wanted a timeless yet stylish and fully functional kitchen. Every square inch of storage space was taken advantage of, using hardware such as pull out pantries, blind corner solutions, spice/oil slide outs and a large pot/pan garage. There's even a cupboard with a mixer lift, that swings up when making bread/food processing, then back in its space when done. A bank of display cabinetry with interior lighting allows for showcasing fine china and crystal dinnerware.

in quartersawn white oak. Quartersawn just means that the wood is cut from the log in a way that reveals straighter grain lines, making for a more uniform appearance. The stain is chestnut, and the interior is finished using natural amber shellac.

is made with solid Honduran mahogany and curly cherry with ebony accents. I designed this as a cabinet to store coffee and tea, sugar, a teapot, etc. and does so with style and artistic flair. The handmade door pulls are like a drop of water that radiates ripples in a still pond. This item is for sale, inquire if interested.
