✨Before + After✨ From dull grey to bold, sophisticated and modern! This MDF dresser got a complete refresh with Onyx by Benjamin Moore and sleek gold hardware for that perfect finishing touch.

A little MDF refinishing tip! Unlike solid wood, MDF needs a gentle touch when sanding. I used 120-grit sandpaper to scuff the existing finish, followed by a bonding primer to help the paint adhere properly. Then I applied 3 coats of Onyx, lightly sanding between coats for a smooth, professional finish.

The right prep makes all the difference!

What do you think of this transformation? Let me know in the comments! ⬇️

My 5-year-old helping me with a light sanding before the final coat of paint. She might be little, but she’s already learning that the best finishes come from taking your time and paying attention to the details!
