We're a family run business located in Slave Lake, Alberta selling split firewood and log truck loads

07/10/2026

Just a heads up, we have limited quantity of our driest birch left, we think under 10 cords now with orders that have already been put in.
We have more split and laid out to dry but most of it will still be a bit green for a while. We will likely be taking the drier blocks off the outsides of the piles to fill orders once the driest birch is gone.
So if you want to get some of the driest birch thats left, best to put an order in or arrange to pick it up as soon as possible.

Our firepit wood has been so popular lately we had to sort some right off the machine to keep it in stock 😳

Did you know we sell bulk bundled firewood?
We just finished doing a load of 480 bundles for a campground in the area.
We’ve reliably supplied many parks and campgrounds with bundled and loose wood over the years.

*Cat not included in the bundles. 😜

We have log trucks loads of green poplar for sale now (all white poplar/aspen). Contact Steve at 780-849-1168 for a quote.

Sales of spruce loads are on hold at the moment. Our priority is to get enough spruce to process for our own customers. If we get more than we need, sales will resume on spruce loads.

We are also gonna hold onto the loads of birch left for ourselves. So far there is no indication we will be getting more this year.

Heres some updates and things to note at this time of year.

Our remaining log truck loads of birch are spoken for, we do not know yet if we will get more birch this winter.
We still have log truck loads of dry spruce available.
Our split tamarack and poplar is sold out. We still have lots of dry birch left though and we’re always splitting dry spruce.

There may be delivery delays during periods of really bad weather. It’s hard to keep ourselves and our machines running in really cold weather so please be patient.
But we will prioritize people who need wood the soonest to stay warm (like if your furnace quits working).
And of course customers can always pick the wood up at our yard and we will help you load up (just make sure and arrange a pickup time with us first).
