Start With What You Already Own
A new workplace does not always require all-new furniture.
Before building a specification, it can be valuable to look at what the client already has. Some pieces may still perform well, fit the new plan or support a secondary area.
An existing-furniture review helps identify what to retain, relocate, reconfigure, repair, donate or replace. It can reduce waste, protect the budget and uncover needs that are easy to miss on a floor plan alone.
The goal is not to force old pieces into a new space. It is to make an informed decision about where existing assets still add value - and where a new investment will make the greater difference.
When planning a move, how does your team decide what comes with you?
