I will choose timeless over trendy every single time.
I love seeing what’s trending, but I don’t believe your home should have an expiry date.
Function comes before pretty.
If your kitchen photographs beautifully but is annoying to actually live in, we missed the point.
I don’t think every kitchen needs white oak. 😬
There. I said it. I love it too, but the internet may have gotten a little carried away.
I will tell you if I think something is a bad idea.
Kindly, obviously 😂 But you’re hiring me for my opinion, not just to agree with everything.
I believe in spending money where it matters and saving where it doesn’t.
Not everything in a beautiful home needs to be expensive.
Diet Coke > regular Coke.
I will not be taking questions at this time. 😂
Summer over winter. Always.
Give me sunshine, water and long evenings. Winter can leave. Unless it’s a blizzard. I’m all about being snowed in
I’m a dog person AND a cat person.
I refuse to choose sides. 😂
I would rather be overdressed than underdressed.
There is no such thing as being too put together.
I’d choose an experience over more stuff almost every time.
Trips, concerts, dinners, adventures, memories. That’s where I want to spend my money.

Every detail in this kitchen was chosen on purpose-
Project Porter mixes closed + open storage, warm wood against all that white, and organization that actually gets used day to day.
This is the kind of kitchen that looks good and works hard for the people actually living in it — which is always the goal.
Swipe through for the details, and tell me: open shelving or closed storage — which camp are you in? 👇

Trends fade. Good design doesn’t — and that’s the whole philosophy behind every kitchen we build. Following along for more real reno takes (not just what’s trending this week) 👇

WHY NO SHOWROOM?
It’s a question we get asked by some clients!
We’ve made the intentional choice not to have a traditional showroom so we can keep our overhead lower and put that investment where it matters most…into our clients, our craftsmanship, and our projects.
We also believe the best way to experience our work is in a real home, not under showroom lights. Every project is unique, and we love bringing samples, ideas, and inspiration directly to you.
Less overhead. More personal. Better value.
