Congratulations to our newly elected Mayor of West Elgin! Sousa for Mayor
Friends, family, and the people of West Elgin - THANK YOU! ❤️
Thank you for believing in me, supporting our campaign, and standing behind our fight for West Elgin.
Change is here. Change that puts people first. Change that builds a stronger community. And change that brings us together to move West Elgin forward.
Now is the time to work together as one community. To tear down walls, not build them. To remove unnecessary red tape, challenge outdated policies, and find better ways to serve the people who call West Elgin home.
This is about YOU. Your voice matters.
With a new term of Council ahead, we have an opportunity to review the way things have been done, bring forward fresh ideas, and create policies that put our residents FIRST - not last.
We need a real game plan to attract investment, strengthen our local economy, support our businesses, and create more opportunities right here at home.
We must continue to support our seniors, our schools, our families, and the next generation. We also have incredible volunteers and service clubs throughout West Elgin who give so much to our community. I look forward to building stronger relationships with them, supporting their efforts, and creating more opportunities for our youth to thrive.
But first, I want to thank the person who stood beside me through it all - my wife, Amy. ❤️
Together, we knocked on over 1,000 doors. Through the long days, the conversations, and the challenges, Amy encouraged me to keep going, never give up, and reach as many people as possible.
Amy, thank you for believing in me, standing by my side, and being such an important part of this journey. I couldn't have done it without you.
To everyone who supported our campaign, put up a sign, volunteered, shared a post, encouraged us, or simply took the time to have a conversation with us - thank you from the bottom of my heart.
This victory is about more than one person. It's about our community, our shared hopes, and the future we can build together.
The campaign may be over, but the work ahead is just beginning. I look forward to listening, working with our community, and fighting for the positive changes West Elgin deserves.
West Elgin, thank you for believing in this vision. Let's move forward together.
God bless you all.
