Larger islands, dedicated entertaining spaces, and custom storage solutions reflected a growing desire for kitchens that could support everyday routines while bringing people together.
The decade brought its fair share of memorable trends, from Tuscan-inspired finishes and dark cherry cabinetry to granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. While some styles have evolved over time, many ideas from this era continue to influence kitchen design today.
