I’ve been pretty quiet over here lately! Between stupidly hurting myself, shop construction that also turned into yard construction, parenting, wholesale orders and the chaos of everyday life social media has taken the back seat for now. Tomorrow, May 29th at 7pm MDT two new pieces will be available on my website. Their names are subliming and runaway and they are up for preview on my website now. Appreciate you all more than I can say! ❤️

I’ve been quietly creating and awaiting a little break from the spring snow (great moisture) so I can have the trench dug for gas & electrical to the new shop. I recently did my first “wood rescue” of 2026 and it was sooooo nice to load it into the shop instead of lugging it all into the basement. New pieces coming soon!

My sunbeam pieces are made entirely out of cedar! Isn’t the broad range of colour incredible? No stain, just my favourite wood!

I saved the cedar used in this piece for quite a while. It’s full of knots and has the most stunning grain. It’s made of some 2x6 off cuts from a contractors firewood pile, I think it made better art than firewood!
