The ocean is practically your backyard! Only a 5 minute scooter drive to popular Muri Beach, and 10 minutes to town.

This is a high set beach house with beautiful ocean views. Sunrise, moonrise, and full moon are spectacular. It is set back from the road, so minimal traffic noise. During the whale season, humpback whales can often be seen from the front balcony. The beach in front of the house is coral, but there are sandy beaches a few meters away. It's whale season in Rarotonga!! We often see them breaching from the front deck of the villa - hoping our current guests can see some while here. If not, the view is gorgeous anyway 😍

These 2 boys, Numa and Jojo George, found this young turtle on a coral rock outside the TIS Office on a very low tide today, and asked what should they do with it! It could not swim out as there was no water. So we went out to the reef edge and they released it over the reef. Young environmentalist award for these two!

A beautiful afternoon of wine, cheese, and whales @ Matangi Moana. This spectacular humpback whale was only about a hundred meters away from the beach deck! We aren't the best photographers and don't have the best camera, but if you are, and you do, then this is definitely the spot for you!
