Anyone else getting excited for ?? As we await the season start next weekend, we’re showcasing this 1m2 rug of one of my favorite cities - downtown Toronto, featuring the infamous !

Our handmade custom rugs often adorn walls as well as floors. This Toronto 1x1 rug is one example of the smaller ‘neighborhood’ rugs we’ve been producing for our custom clients. Urban Fabric rugs add a beautiful visual texture, acoustic dampening, any colour you could imagine and fully customizable to your favorite city.

COLLABORATION
I remember when I met John Monteith and saw his artwork for the first time… I loved his colourful, layered compositions and knew in that moment, we needed to do a rug collection with him. The only problem was - how to narrow down which pieces to adapt into rugs?! So many possibilities.

Monteith’s ‘Grand Ensembles’ collection for Urban Fabric features 3 distinct artworks, each in 3 stunning colorways. Handmade with premium 100% New Zealand wool, each rug has crisply defined lines and multiple pile heights that convey the visual depth of Monteith’s original artworks.

Last week in New York, hosted the 2025 Awards Gala. Our Twice Woven Rug collab with MOS Architects was named as Honoree in 2 categories;
- Residential Rug - Artist Collaboration and
- People’s Choice!!
