Yes, even the bathroom is curated!

A little extra light never hurt anyone. Especially in the bathroom.

A bathroom with its own sound system. What more could you ask for?

Towels, robes, clothes… this one can handle it all.

Not the most obvious choice for a bathroom, but definitely a good one.

They may look quite at home here, but they’re not staying in the bathroom.

Curated vintage, seen in person.

A little clean-up for a vintage design classic.

The revolving ashtray from Stelton’s Cylinda-line, designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1967. Clean lines, brushed stainless steel and a clever rotating lid. Available in two sizes.

Ready for its next home.

Funny how many things can start with a simple circle.

A mirror, a speaker, a lamp, a chair or a magazine rack. Same shape, completely different stories.

Which one caught your eye?

A window, a palm tree, a little unexpected chemistry.

A bamboo and glass bookcase, paired with a handmade French palm lamp from the 1920s. Warm tones, dark metal and a touch of the tropics.

Not a matching set. Just two pieces that happen to work really well together.

Would you put them together?

A little cleaning, a little design history.

Designed by Verner Panton for German manufacturer VS, the PantoSwing-LuPo was created for schools, with one simple idea: sitting doesn’t have to mean staying still.

Its flexible cantilever frame allows the chair to move with you. A small detail that makes an everyday object a little more interesting.

We have 12 chairs available in adult size: 3 yellow, 3 red, 3 blue and 3 green.

PantoSwing-LuPo, 1994, Germany.

Unseen’s first workshop is coming!
And I won’t be alone.

I’ve always liked the idea of putting things together that weren’t necessarily meant to go together.

So, flowers + vintage objects + a little ikebana.

Inspired by Bruno Munari and his Un fiore con amore, and Unseen planned a workshop where we’ll learn how to create an ikebana arrangement using vintage everyday objects as vases, and see what happens when you look at an old object in a completely different way.

Wondering how to visit the Unseen showroom?

We’re inside superglue, creative space in Kreuzberg, but we’re not open like a regular shop.

Visits are by appointment, so if you’d like to come by, have a look around, touch things, try things out or just see what’s currently there, send me a DM or use the link in bio.

I’m often at the showroom anyway, so it’s always worth trying your luck and messaging or calling me, even without an appointment.

For occasional open hours, check our Google page or Instagram.

The selection changes regularly, so there’s always a slightly different collection to discover.

One of my favourite things from the superglue opening was this floral installation by
Inspired by Bruno Munari’s Un fiore con amore, Natalie decided to turn pieces from the Unseen collection into unexpected vases, a candelabra, a teacup, a lamp.

It’s exactly the kind of combination I love: familiar objects used in a completely different way.

Have you ever tried ikebana?
