WILDE+SPIETH is an international design company with a collection that celebrates unique masterpieces. More information: http://www.wilde-spieth.com

The collection includes chairs, stools, tables, swivel chairs and lounge chairs. With more than a century of history, Wilde+Spieth has developed into an international design company with a collection that celebrates unique masterpieces. The famous German architect Egon Eiermann has played an important part in the development of our aesthetics and values when he exclusively started to produce his furniture with Wilde+Spieth in 1949. Since then, elements like function, design, quality and comfort go hand in hand – modern classics appreciated by architects, stylists, designers and design lovers worldwide. Fine craftmanship is one of our core principles for good design and no compromises are made to ensure the best possible quality of our products. Therefore, our designs are detail-focused, hand-made and the production as well as the origin of our wood are limited to Germany and Austria. Besides our iconic chair collection for home, office and hospitality, we have designed chairs for a wide range of classical orchestras and became specialists in catering to the particular needs of musicians. From the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg over the Metropolitan Opera in New York – our orchestra line can be found all over the world. Happy Birthday Egon Eiermann
*29.09.1904

Egon Eiermann consistently represented the ideas of functionalism, he understood the interplay of objectivity and lightness, and thus shaped the image of the young Federal Republic of Germany over a period of more than two decades. It is particularly thanks to his work as a designer that Germany was able to successfully build on its tradition of the Werkbund and the Bauhaus internationally. His chairs are now classics and available under the Wilde+Spieth brand.

The NS Documentation Center in Munich by Scheel Wetzel Architekten serves as a place of remembrance and research dedicated to the history of National Socialism. The architecture translates a demanding brief into a quiet, considered building that prioritizes clarity and contemplation. Our SE 68 SU stackable chairs in ash with chrome frame provide an understated yet refined seating solution in keeping with the building’s dignified atmosphere.

Leonie Herweg, Simon Freund and Nicolas Mertens have reopened ”Café Tiergarten” in Berlin’s Hansaviertel following a careful, heritage-sensitive restoration. The café is located in the Schwedenhaus, which was built by the architects Fritz Jaenecke and Sten Samuelson for the Interbau 1957. The buildings erected for this occation by renowned architects are regarded as outstanding examples of modern urban planning and of the architecture of classical modernism.
