Arketype
For Arketype, the starting point was the idea that interiors are really about the moments that happen inside them. Sitting. Lingering. Gathering. The space is simply what holds those moments.
That idea became the foundation for the whole identity.
The custom wordmark was designed to feel architectural but human, while the three graphic forms [ For sitting. For lingering. For gathering. ] became a way to give the brand its own visual language. From there, I built out the colour palette, typography, stationery and graphic system, taking cues from floor plans, architectural drawings and the visual language of interior design.
I wanted the brand to feel like it belonged to the world it was creating. So rather than treating the stationery as just collateral, 1 approached it almost like another part of the interior project; with die-cut business cards, architectural flyers and details that feel more like objects than traditional studio stationery.
Every decision came back to the same idea: creating spaces around the moments that matter.
The result is an identity that feels considered and architectural, but never too serious: a visual world that reflects how Arketype approaches interiors: thoughtfully, intentionally, and always with real life in mind.
