I don’t normally get starstruck when recording dialogue or voice-overs, but this April was an exception.

I had the chance to meet the one and only Steve Wiebe, the world-record holder for Donkey Kong on an arcade machine. Back in 2007, I saw the documentary The King of Kong, which follows Steve and his journey to achieve the record, and I was immediately drawn into its story and wonderfully geeky world of arcade machines😀

Meeting Steve all these years later was a real honour. Getting to work with him and do the sound design for this LEGO - Super Mario: Donkey Kong Arcade Machine film made the experience even more special🙏
