Strings of wood, tuned to the room.
Meet the Lyre Dining Chair.
Named after one of the oldest stringed instruments, Lyre takes its rhythm from the slender slats rising behind the seat, crowned by a backrest that seems to float above them. A two-tone frame, dark at the front and natural at the back, and a stepped joint beneath the seat show exactly how it was made, with nothing hidden.
Made in Portugal to be lived with for decades, not replaced in seasons.
Portuguese craft, Nordic soul.
