Carrara Marble is a beautiful creamy white marble that comes from the mines of the city of Carrara in the Northern Italy. The marble quarries reach a height of 1500 meters above sea level and has been known for many years. In fact, Carrara became a favourite in the Renaissance period, where Michelangelo and Da Vinci sourced their marble from here.

About working with natural stone materials, Nicolai says:

In summerhouse with Sussie Frank: Interior stylist and entrepreneur

In the historic seaside town of Blokhus, you will find this beautiful wooden summerhouse situated between the charming dunes and just a few steps away from the North Sea.

The summer house belongs to Interior Stylist who has created a warm and minimalistic Nordic style using exclusive and natural materials. For Sussie, keeping the style in simple colors has been an important element:

“It has been important to me that the interior design is generally based on simple colors, such as wood (light and dark) mixed with cream, light grey and brownish tones.”

Latest addition for the cozy wooden hourse is a round marble dining table from MRBL space. The table is made from Carrara Marble, which is a beautiful creamy white marble that comes from the mines of the city of Carrara in the Northern Italy. About the choice of marble, Sussie says:

“I really dreamed of a lovely marble table in a light color, where the saturation of marble was only slightly marbled and where there was not too much contrast in the colors.”
